1.Who we are
Repo Notify is operated by Quexo Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16313649), whose registered address is 3rd Floor 86-90 Paul Street, London, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NE. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Quexo Limited, and "you" means the person using Repo Notify.
By creating an account you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.
2.The service
Repo Notify connects to the code repositories you choose and emails you and your team summaries of their pull requests on a schedule you set. You need an account to use it. Optional paid plans are described on our pricing page.
3.Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Give us accurate details and keep your email address up to date.
- Keep your sign-in methods secure. Every account must use two-factor authentication or a passkey, and you are responsible for activity on your account.
- A team account is managed by its owner and admins, who are responsible for who they invite into it.
4.Connecting your repositories
Repo Notify reads your repositories through a GitHub App that you install on your GitHub account or organisation. You choose which repositories it can see, and you can change that or uninstall it on GitHub at any time. It asks for read-only access to pull requests and repository metadata and never reads your code.
Only connect accounts and organisations you are allowed to connect. If you connect an organisation, you confirm its owners are happy for its pull request details to be summarised and emailed to the members of your workspace. Your use of GitHub remains subject to GitHub's own terms.
5.Digests and email
A digest is an email we send on the schedule you set, summarising the pull requests in the repositories it covers. It goes only to members of your workspace that you choose, and each of them can be removed from it at any time.
Digests reflect what GitHub tells us when they are sent. We do our best to deliver them on time, but email can be delayed or filtered, and a digest is not a substitute for GitHub's own records.
6.Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add to Repo Notify and everything we read from your repositories. You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to process it only as needed to run the service, such as to build and send your digests. The licence ends when the content is deleted.
You are responsible for the repositories you connect and the people you send digests to.
7.Acceptable use
You must not use Repo Notify to:
- break the law;
- connect repositories or organisations you have no right to connect, or send their details to people who should not see them;
- send spam or email people who have not joined your workspace;
- impersonate a person, brand or organisation;
- scrape the service, get around its limits, or interfere with its security or performance.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. To report misuse, email [email protected].
8.Paid plans and billing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Prices include VAT where it applies.
- You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.
- When a plan ends, your connections, digests and account stay, but features that need the plan stop applying: for example, digests over the free limits pause.
- If a payment fails, Paddle will retry it. If it still cannot be collected, the subscription is cancelled.
- We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change, and it will apply from your next renewal.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
9.Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Profile; cancel any subscription first. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we have to by law. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to fix the problem first. If we close the service entirely we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused paid time.
10.Our responsibility to you
We work hard to keep Repo Notify available and secure, but we provide it "as is" and cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for GitHub's availability, for decisions made from a digest, or for a digest that arrives late or not at all.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for business losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Repo Notify changes. If a change materially affects you and you have an account, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can close your account before then.
12.Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also bring proceedings where you live and keep the protection of your local consumer law.
